Biography
Brandur Enni is a
singer and songwriter from the Faroe Islands, located in the middle
of the North Atlantic Ocean, at the point where the Gulf Stream
reaches its end. His family has always been musical and Brandur is
no exception. By the age of twelve, Brandur had already released his
debut-cd “Waiting in the Moonlight” which was a success in Denmark,
Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Ready to invest more in his career,
Brandur moved to Sweden in 2006 to attend the Songwriter’s Academy,
Musikmakarna, a two-year vocational training.
Brandur is talented both as a singer and songwriter. He is currently
working on new material for his upcoming album and has recently
signed a record deal with Lionheart International, a Universal Music
label. Brandur has also just landed a publishing deal with Air
Chrysalis of Scandinavia.
Despite his young age, Brandur has already co-written with some of
the most talented Swedish song-writers. With collaborations with the
writers behind songs of artists like Joe Cocker (Lasse Andersson),
Celine Dion/Gavin DeGraw and Westlife (Carl Falk) and the writer of
“By the Rivers of Babylon”, Barak Levi – Brandur’s upcoming album
has the potential to be packed with catchy quality songs.
His band members are Swedish, and they’ve been writing a lot of
songs together over the last year. Three of the members attend the
Songwriter’s Academy as well.
Brandur was chosen as one of the candidates for the Swedish
Eurovision Music Contest 2008, Melodifestivalen. He performed
“Lullaby” written by Henrik Wikström and Kristian Lagerström in
Gothenburg on February 9th 2008.
Autumn 2008 he had the challenge of singing the Swedish version of
the theme song for Walt Disney’s “High School Musical 3”. The song
is a duet with Molly Sandén.
His Latest single is called Lifelong Lovesong, it’s available on
iTunes and cdon.com and you can hear it live on Sunday, December
14th when Brandur will be playing with his band at the Swedish tv-channel
TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.

James Bond Gala
2008-12-08
On October 30th 2008 together with his band, Brandur had the
great opportunety of playing at the James Bond Gala in Sälens
Högfjällshotel, which is an exclusive hotel in the middle of
nowhere, in the center of Sweden's skiing paradise "Sälen". The
Band played after the guests had seen the new 007 Quantum Of
Solace. The performance was full of adrenalin and passion, and
the energy reached the whole crowd that was gathered on this
special occasion.
The famous and respected Swedish musician Björn Skifs, was
overwhelmed and gave complements to the whole band after the
concert, and said that they had truly inspired him.

High School
Musical 3

The musical sensation is back!
On November 9th, Brandur and Molly Sandén sang their duet at the
premiere of High School Musical 3 (sing-along) in the well known
cinema "Skandia" in Stockholm.
Molly and Brandur sing the Swedish version of the theme song in
High School Musical 3. In October, they were in Copenhagen
recording the video for the song that now played several times a
day on the nordic Disney Channel.
